The CEED Foundation, committed to inclusive, sustainable and transformative international development, recognizes the complexities of each initiative and systematically combines strategic approaches to include effective, timely and actionable interventions that tackle specific challenges and eventually forge enduring relationships with local stakeholders. For complex problems, there are no simple solutions. International growth issues include doing the hard work to produce the right outcomes.

Sustainable Development​

Our overall goal is to strengthen the governance of sustainable natural resource management in Cameroon’s forest ecosystem while reducing global pollution. More precisely, we want to establish plantations in pilot municipalities in dry and transitional zones. Forest communes are CEED AFRICA’s valued partners as public managers of communal forests.

The grants provided to CEED AFRICA will enable the Technical Center of the Communal Forest to carry out reforestation and regeneration activities in communal forests in dry and transitional zones. The latter will produce grant agreements with each of the project’s beneficiary municipalities. These agreements, which will take into account gender issues, will lay out the technical and financial procedures for carrying out field activities. As a member of CEED AFRICA, each municipality commits to include women in the implementation, co-finance planting, maintenance, and capacity building work, and conduct operations related to it.

Finally, as part of our Sustainable Development goals, we forming partnerships with buyers in international markets for locally grown cash crops.

Social Innovation | Technology​

We believe that with creativity and ingenuity social and structural problems can be solved. CEED empowers societies with ideals of social entrepreneurship and co-creation to incubate and encourage a range of innovations to create sustainable solutions. These concepts are nurtured by the CEED to improve civil society and institutional capabilities.As another tool for achieving positive outcomes, we believe in fostering public-private partnerships.  We also implement the necessary software and resources needed to stimulate progress. A means to an end is technology. We concentrate on aligning individuals and organizations with the resources they need to accomplish their objectives.
